Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources

Brian Kraus has been the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources since July of 2008. He began his education career at Smith Center Jr/Sr High School where he taught English, Psychology, and Sociology. He then spent 19 years as a school counselor at Marion and Eudora. His administrative career began as the High School Principal at Colby for 2 years and then for 3 years as the principal at Santa Fe Trail High School. Brian has a bachelor's degree from Bethany College, a Master's degree in School Counseling from Kansas State University, building-level licensure from Washburn University, and a a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Kansas State University.
