Quarterfinal Win

What an exciting time to be an Ottawa Cyclone!  With last night's win, the OHS volleyball team has secured a trip to Hutchinson to compete in the semifinal round of the KSHSAA Volleyball Tournament.  There are only 4 teams left, and Friday, October 30th, will determine which of those teams are the State Champion for 2020.  Good luck ladies.  Cyclone Nation is proud of you!  

For all of the parents and fans, there is some important information that you need to know so you can catch the Cyclones in action wherever you may be.


Game Location:  Hutchinson Sports Arena  1300 N Plum St, Hutchinson, KS 67501

Time:  The Introduction Ceremony starts at 10:00 am.  Pool play will start at 10:45 am.  Semifinal games will start at approximately 3:00 pm.  The Consolation and State Championship matches will start at approximately 4:15 pm.  The final match will be followed by an awards ceremony that all teams will participate in.

Tickets:  Seating is limited so there will be NO IN PERSON TICKET SALES at the arena.  If you want to go to the games, you must have a ticket voucher from a player to be able to buy a ticket at the arena.  Players will be given these tickets to distribute at practice today (Wednesday).  The price will be $10 adults and $7 for students.

Seating:  Every school has their own seating sections.  The location of these seats will be listed on your ticket when you get there.  Spectators are NOT permitted to move to a new section even if their team moves to a court that is not in front of them.  Please stay in the Ottawa section as there isn't a bad seat in the arena.  Spectators also are not allowed to stand and watch from walkways.  Please watch from our seating sections.

COVID Protocols:  Every fan will be expected to wear a mask.  Parents are also asked to social distance by family.  Every other row will be closed in the arena to promote distancing.  Please do not sit in the closed rows.

OTHER INFORMATION

+ No helium-filled balloons or confetti of any type is permitted in the facility.

+ No artificial noisemakers are allowed in the facility.

+ Signs may not be taped to the railings. Use string or zip ties to attach signs.

+ Fans must stay off the court after the conclusion of all games.
