
10/20: 7th Grade GBB vs. Woodland Spring:
Our JV girls came out strong tonight with a solid 31–18 win over Ottawa! Great teamwork and energy on the court!
Varsity battled hard against Woodland, falling 13–24, but showed grit and determination from start to finish. Proud of the effort from both teams as they continue to grow each game!

What a season it’s been for our OMS Whirlwinds! Our 7th-grade team closed their year against Woodland Spring, battling hard but falling 36–6. Our 8th graders finished strong with a gritty 8–0 win over Baldwin!
We’re proud of the growth, effort, and teamwork shown by both groups this season. Way to represent OMS, Whirlwinds!

10/9 League Cross Country Results: Our OMS Cross Country teams wrapped up an incredible season with strong finishes across the board! 7th Grade Girls dominated the course: - Corynn Osborne raced to 5th at the invitational and 3rd in league - Jackie Robinson finished 9th at the invitational and 6th in league - Kenlie Derhammer placed 12th and 8th. Their hard work paid off as the 7th Grade Girls were crowned League Champions! 🏆 7th Grade Boys: - Santiago Guerrero ran a strong race, finishing 8th in the league! 8th Grade Girls: Kielee Entress came in with a 4th-place finish at the invitational and in league! What a season for our Whirlwind Cross Country team — full of grit, teamwork, and top finishes! 💪👏

Tonight we celebrated our 8th. Grade Football and Cheer parents. The Whirlwinds took on Louisburg. 7th grade fell 0-30 while 8th grade came out with a victory. 16-0. Our cheerleaders debuted a new dance routine and entertained fans during both halftimes. #whirlwindpride
