It was a great night for 7th grade GBB at OMS. Both Varsity and JV won against Tonganoxie in the Division Finals and our Spirit Squad had an amazing half time performance! Way to go!

Congrats to our 8th grade Varsity Girls Basketball Team!! 🏀 They are the Frontier League Champions! They beat Eudora tonight 41-36! The JV girls won as welll, 22-9. What a great season for the Whirlwinds!

The OMS and OHS bands did a combined concert tonight, and it was awesome! Thank you Mr. Paquette and Mr. Butler for teaching our students and supporting them! Nice job teachers and students!

Congratulations to our 8th grade girls basketball teams tonight, as they both got wins! Congrats to our varsity team who went undefeated this season!! Good luck on Wednesday at our final game of the season!

7th grade Varsity won 30-10 over Forest Spring this evening and our Spirit Squad helped the crowd cheer them on! Way to go!

We could not be more proud to have Fonda Rose receiving the KAHPERD Middle School Teacher of the Year award today! Thank you Mrs. Rose for serving our students and community! Congratulations and it is well deserved!

Ottawa Whirlwinds played their last football games of the season this evening against the Tonganoxie Warriors. Both teams played hard but came up short losing to Tonganoxie. The Football Spirit Squad did a great job of cheering our teams on!
