It was a great night for 8th grade GBB at OMS tonight. Both JV and V came away with wins and the Spirit Squad did a great job of leading the crowd!

Ottawa Whirlwinds played their last football games of the season this evening against the Tonganoxie Warriors. Both teams played hard but came up short losing to Tonganoxie. The Football Spirit Squad did a great job of cheering our teams on!

Ottawa Whirlwinds took on Louisburg at home this evening. 7th grade got a win 20-12, 8th grade came up just 1 touchdown short and fell to Louisburg 6-12.

OMS cheerleaders and 7th and 8th grade football teams had their home openers tonight! We had a great crowd cheering everyone on. Unfortunately the 7th grade fell to Paola 40-8 and 8th grade had a close game but lost 40-32.
Girls Cross Country had a great day today! 7th grade girls placed 1st and 8th grade girls came in 2nd at the Spring Hill meet! Way to go!
This week OMS will have a Spirit Week to celebrate our students and their activities. Spirit Day themes are listed on the slide below with the activities this week for OMS students. We have home volleyball and football games this week and these will both be played at OHS. We hope to see you there!
