
The Ottawa golf team today placed 1st from a clutch par on the last hole by Landon Carey to secure a 90 for 12th place and to win the golf tournament. Leading scorers for OHS were Julius O'Bryan with a 73 for 4th, Cayden Turner with a 75 for 5th, and Max Ficken with an 82, placing 8th. Joshua Audiss struck the ball well and finished with a 92, and Landon Jones putted super well and shot a 95. The team will now prepare for Regionals next week in Independence. #CyclonePride

The Kansas CTE Scholar Recognition program is a state-wide recognition for outstanding Career and Technical Education students completing their Senior year of high school. This recognition is a way to celebrate students who have attained technical skills and employability skills throughout high school in one more CTE pathway course.
