OHS Band had 3 members travel to a leadership symposium today at Blue Valley North High School. We look forward to seeing what Emery Ishmael, Karrington Hall, and Xavier Evans learn and can bring back to the OHS Band!

Ottawa High School is pleased to announce Cadence Haney as its next Head Cross Country Coach. Cadence is an OHS grad that also ran cross country at Ottawa University. Coach Haney will also serve as the distance coach during track season.
Ottawa High School is pleased to announce Ryan Gutierrez as its Head Girls Golf Coach. Ryan will also be an Ast. Boys Basketball Coach in 2023. He brings a lot of coaching experience in multiple sports to his new coaching duties.

OHS Girls Tennis will have a team camp this week at the Forest Park courts. Any girls in high school next year should come check it out if you are interested in playing, or even if you just want to give tennis a try. Girls in weights can come after weights is over.
It was a busy day for the OHS boys basketball team. They had weights this morning. Basketball Camp this afternoon, and also took time to give back to the community by helping unload the Harvesters food truck for the Mobile Food Pantry.

Congratulations to the Class of 2023 Wall of Honor Inductees. We are excited to induct this group of Ottawa High School alumni on Thursday, September 14th, during a banquet and ceremony and honor them during halftime of the home football game on Friday, September 15th.
Good luck to the OHS FFA team as they head to the State Convention in Manhattan.
