The OHS Skills USA chapter went to KCKCC to run for office at the Skills USA District 3 leadership event. Congratulations to Justus Bishop who was elected as the District 3 Parliamentarian, and Caden Finch for being elected as a Student Representative!

Sophomore Cyclones heard from our Jostens rep regarding the ordering of class rings, ask your student for their packet! We will also send an email later today! Please note any Sophomore, Junior, or Senior can order! #CyclonePride
Due to the extreme heat forecasted for today, the soccer game @ Baldwin has been postponed. This will cause a couple of additional changes to the soccer schedule.
9/27/22 The game vs Baldwin will now be played @ Baldwin. V @ 4:00 with JV to follow
10/17/22 Will be the make up date for the postponement today, but it will be played at OHS.
The change in home and away dates has been done to maximize the amount of time available to play the JV game @ Baldwin. Baldwin does not have lights, so the length of the game depends on the amount of daylight available. Playing at Baldwin next week will allow for more daylight than the October 17th date.

Mrs. Stinebaugh’s College Biology students are exploring the process of photosynthesis in spinach leaves today. As oxygen is produced, the density of the leaves change. This rate of oxygen synthesis changes when under different colored light. #CyclonesLearn

The OHS JV golf team hosted their home tournament today at Great Life Golf. The tournament had a different format with players playing a 2 person scramble. Congratulations to Laynee Dillion and Mackenzie Cunningham as they took 3rd!
