Over the summer, a group of incoming freshmen had the idea of recognizing students that are nominated by their peers for their positive impact in our school. These students partnered with a generous family donor, Sparkwheel, and Daylight Donuts to start the "Donut Forget How Much We Appreciate You" Award ! Our first ever winner is Ashton Roberts! Ashton makes OHS brighter with his humor and compassion for others. We appreciate you, Ashton! Ashton received this certificate and a delicious box of Daylight Donuts.
Cyclones start the 2024 season 1-0, with a 24-14 win over Atchison. Congratulations Cyclones on a great road win! Cyclones return to the grid iron next Friday night at home.

Meet this week's Kansas State Bank Cyclones Of The Week! Alec Haycox was nominated by Mrs. Britton for his commitment to hard work in the classroom and his compassion toward others in the building whether they are students or staff. Mrs. Ward nominated Olivia Shaner for her positive attitude about class, her hard work, and the way she helps and cheers on her classmates as they learn together. Great job, Cyclones! These Cyclones received a $10 gift card from Dairy Queen courtesy of Kansas State Bank.

Fun game to kickoff Cyclone Varsity soccer tonight! Sophomore Quincey Lewis kicked it off with a spectacular rendition of the national anthem. Cyclones come back from 1-0 to score two goals in the last twenty minutes to win 2-1 verses Bonner. Great win, Cyclones!
