The OHS Art Department will be hosting the Senior Art Show on Wed. May 8th from 5:00-6:00pm in the Performing Arts Center Lobby. After the art show, you can stay and listen to the OHS Jazz Band at 6:00pm with the concert band to follow.

The soccer games scheduled for today WILL still be played. We are trying to give every opportunity to get this game in as there are no common open dates between Ottawa and Eudora prior to the end of the season. Storms are forecasted to pass in the late afternoon, so we are hoping we can still play later today. OHS administration will monitor the weather to determine if any delays need to occur. Just in case we have to delay, we are going to play the Varsity game first at 4:30. This will hopefully allow us to get it in, even if we have to delay the game. Once the varsity game is complete, we will evaluate if we can play a full, partial, or no JV based on how late it is. Our hope is to get both games played tonight. Thank you for your patience during this active weather pattern.

The baseball and softball games scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. They have been rescheduled for Fri 5/3. The schedule will be:
4:00pm JV BSB / V SFT
6:00pm V BSB / V SFT
Senior Night will be between the 4:00 & 6:00 games for both programs. This change will cause the JV BSB quad on 5/3 to be cancelled. There will be no JV softball games due to limited roster availability. The early start time will allow some of our players to make it to the Variety Show later that night so they can participate in that as well.

The Regional Tennis Tournament at Chanute has been postponed today due to inclement weather. It will now be played on Friday, May 3rd @ 9:00am in Chanute.

The Ottawa High School 2024 Graduation Ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 11th at Steve Grogan Stadium. Anyone that cannot attend can also watch the ceremony online at the following link:

Lady Cyclones 🥎 takes a tough loss vs Tonganoxie at home today 6-2. Game 2 will not be played as scheduled due to the threat of severe storms in the area.

Due to storms forecasted for the evening of Tue 4/30, we are changing the start time/order of games that night. This will help get the varsity games completed for league / postseason seeding purposes.
4:00pm: V Baseball / V Softball
6:00pm: JV Baseball / V Softball (gm 2)

Due to storms forecasted for the evening on Tuesday 4/30, we will be switching the order of games vs. Chanute. This will give us a greater opportunity to get the varsity game completed for postseason seeding purposes.
V: 4:30pm
JV: Will follow the conclusion of the V game
