BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT UPDATE
Due to the cold weather on Tuesday, the first round of the Burlington Invitational Tournament has been moved to Thursday 1/18/24. The game times will remain the same. Only the date will change.

POWERLIFTING SCHEDULE CHANGE
The powerlifting meet at Royal Valley on Saturday 1/13/24 has been postponed to Saturday 2/3/24 due to inclement weather. All entry fees for students will transfer to the meet on 2/3/24.

OHS girls and JV boys wrestling were in tournament action today in Wellsville. Allie Dillon finished the day on the podium in 3rd place after a dominating 5-1 performance! Morgan Dials (2-2), Elijah Bennett (1-2), and Olivia Friedly (1-2) also picked up wins. The JV boys went winless against tough varsity competition but competed well. Proud of all of these Cyclones and their coaches for their hard work! #BuildingATradition #CyclonePride
🚨 USD 290 parents, we continue to monitor the possibility of another snow/ice event late tonight and into tomorrow morning. I have tried to be respectful of your needs to find suitable care for your children should we need to cancel school by canceling the night before, however, this particular storm has the opportunity to hit or miss us. Therefore we are holding off on a decision until early tomorrow morning. I will try to make sure that we let everyone know by 5 a.m. what our plans for school are. WRESTLING SCHEDULE UPDATE
Due to the potential of winter weather overnight from Thurs into Fri, the Bobcat Classic Tournament at Basehor-Linwood High School will have a later start time on Fri to allow for roads to be cleared. Preliminary matches will now start at 1:00pm.
Our FAFSA information meeting for this evening is canceled. Below is information regarding our new date! We hope to see you then! #CyclonePride
The Cyclone girls and boys basketball teams are competing in the Burlington Basketball Tournament next week. The first round will be on Tues. Jan 16th. Game times are set for:
3:30pm OHS Girls vs Rock Creek
8:15pm OHS Boys vs Silver Lake
Both games @ Burlington Middle School
