JV Volleyball Parents:
At Baldwin tomorrow, all children ages 2-11 will need to wear a mask per Douglas County guidelines. All adults ages 12+ will be encouraged to wear a mask, but it is mask optional. Thanks for your flexibility as protocols will vary at each school.
The OHS girls JV Golf team brings home the first hardware of the year by finishing 2nd as a team in the Uniontown tournament. The Cyclones had 2 top 10 finishers with Laynee Dillon finishing 7th and Makenzie Cunningham finishing 2nd. Great job, ladies!

Mr. Musser has been working with OHS students on their contour line techniques in his art class. Students have been using Sharpies to draw walnut tree leaves. This is an excellent exercise to sharpen students' observational drawing skills. Well done, artists!

Mr. Menefee and his students are back to work on our STEAM bus! These students learned about priming and preparing this space for paint yesterday. Trust me when I say, this was a learning experience!

Today the OHS counseling department hosted an activity fair during Cyclone Hour for students. Students and families will have another opportunity to check out all the amazing activities at OHS tonight during our Open House from 6-7:30pm. We hope to see you then!!!! #CyclonePride

JV Girls Golf was in action today
at Paola Country Club. This was the first tournament for several golfers. Great job,ladies!

Due to the high temperatures, all outdoor practices this week have been moved to 6:00pm. Soccer is the exception as they will practice at 6:30pm. Please encourage your child to drink plenty of water throughout the day to aid in hydration.
We can't wait to see you Wednesday evening!

OHS Football was in action this morning with their evaluation scrimmage at the end of week 1. It was awesome to see so many parents, friends, and other family members in the stands supporting the Cyclones! Less than 2 weeks from the home opener!

Huge shout out to the Ottawa High School Booster Club for purchasing the Cyclone Tunnel and helmet! We can’t wait to use the tunnel at graduation and other OHS events! We appreciate all the booster club does for the athletic and activities programs at OHS! #CyclonePride

The OHS Metals I class has completed their first project of the year under the direction of Mia Lilley. Mrs. Lilley is a new teacher at OHS this year. She is already developing the creativity and craftsmanship skills of our talented OHS students.
