Meet this week's Kansas State Bank Cyclones Of The Week! Corynn Fisher was nominated by Ms. Miller for the way she has supported others in math class- helping them both inside and outside of class without being asked. Dr. Lewis nominated Alex Lopez for his helpfulness as a girls' soccer manager and his hard work in the classroom. Great job, Cyclones!

OHS art students did a great job of competing in the 2025 Frontier League Art Show, and Mr. Musser and Ms. Lilley were fantastic hosts. Ottawa placed 3rd overall as a team and the following students were given individual awards for their work as well:

Students from the Ottawa High School Study & Support class at went through a “mock interview” process with American Eagle Employees. This event is to help those students prepare for what a real interview would be like when they apply for work during or after high school. Thank you Sparkwheel for making this happen! #CyclonePride


Ottawa HS had a strong showing at the Kansas FFA State CDEs this past weekend! The Horse Evaluation Team placed 20th out of 35. The Food Science Team placed 35th out of 57
and our Veterinary Science Team placed 37th out of 79. For many of these students, this was their first time competing at the state level and they did an amazing job!

The Cyclone Varsity Golf team won their 9 team home tournament with a score of 311. Top Cyclone finisher was Cayden Turner who carded a 73, good for fourth overall. Tying for eighth place was Josh Audiss and Landon Carey who both shot a 79. Rounding out team scoring was Julius O'Bryan with an 80. Next for the Cyclones is the Garnett Invitational on May 13th.
